We use dimmed lighting in class to create a relaxing atmosphere that helps students feel less self-conscious. I always remind students to bring their focus to themselves and not worry what someone else is doing (or not doing) on their mat! The aim of each lesson is for my students to enjoy the whole hour, focussing their attention on themselves mindfully and physically. I always encourage students to ask questions and request certain poses to help them deepen their own practise. All equipment is provided, but please feel free to bring your own.

All classes welcome all ages (over 18) and abilities. I often hear people worry that they’re not flexible enough to practise yoga, but I have always found that as long as the mind is flexible, everything else will follow! Yoga is a universal exercise for the body and the mind and with various modifications all poses should be accessible to varying degrees whatever your age or ability.
